📅 HCS Exam Pattern (Latest)
The HCS Exam is conducted in three stages:
🔹 1. Preliminary Exam (Objective)

- CSAT Paper is qualifying (33% required).

- Nationality: Indian Citizen
- Age Limit:
- 21 to 42 years (General Category) as of Jan 1 of exam year
- DSP: Max 27 years
- Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwD, etc.)
- Educational Qualification:
- Graduation in any stream from a recognized university
