- Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or B.El.Ed.
- Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by CBSE for Class I to V.
- Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium, and knowledge of computers.
2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT):
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and overall.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree.
- Pass in CTET conducted by CBSE for teaching classes VI to VIII.

3. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT):

- Age Limit:
- PRT: Maximum 30 years.
